VIEW TOWER IN PARBAT



Parbat, May 28: With a view to attracting tourists to their village in view of the Nepal Tourism Year 2011, villagers in Deupur of Parbat have constructed a view tower at Tapu Gauda of the VDC.

Dozens of high mountains and Parbat district headquarters Kushma, Baglung and Pokhara and other beautiful hills and villages of Kaski, Parbat and Baglung can be viewed from the tower.

Famous mountains Machhapuchhre, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri and others can be seen from the tower.

The tower that was constructed at a cost of around Rs 100,000 is expected to attract tourists trekking in the Annapurna route to the village, said a local youth, Narayan Sharma.

The villagers are also planning to open hotels with modern facilities and services for the tourists. RSS
