Biratnagar, May 28: A reception was hosted here on Thursday evening by British Department of International Development (DFID) on the occasion of eastern region visit by British State Minister for International Development Alan Duncan.

Present on the occasion were heads and representatives of political parties, various development agencies, including industrialists, businessperson, journalists and representatives of organizations in the district.

On the occasion, British State Minister Duncan had consulted with the heads and representatives of organizations being operated in Eastern region with the support of DFID.
Various 16 programmes are operational in eastern region with the assistance of DFID. RSS
