MINISTER FOR INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS
Kathmandu, May 28: Minister for Information and Communications Shankar Pokharel has expressed the view that the responsible political parties would be successful in extending the term of the Constituent Assembly as there is the legal and constitutional compulsion in extending the CA term.
He said he is confident that the term of the Constituent Assembly would be extended as the talks are moving in the positive direction.
Stating unity among the parties is compulsory for guaranteeing peace and constitution, he said a conducive environment would be created for taking the peace process and the constitution-writing to conclusion with the constitution of a national coalition government as soon as the ongoing dialogue process is concluded.
