Makawanpur, May 31: More than 25 folks of twp remote VDCs of Makawanpur have fallen sick after jaundice outbreak with the rise on temperature.

Most of Chepang and Tamang people have suffered from health complications with jaundice breaking out in Chepang settlement in distant Bharta and Kalaikatar VDCs for past one week.

Locals have been fallen sick from jaundice that spread in Kothalitar, Bastal, Nimkha and Keranyam of Bharta-8 and Ghusarang, including other Chepang settlement of Kalikatar-9 since one week, said Mahesh Chepang, a local social worker.

A pregnant wife of Tike Chepang of bharta-8, Potrang had lost her life to jaundice a month ago. RSS
