POLITICAL PARTIES PREVENT LDO TO JOIN OFFICE
Mahottari, May 26: Political parties’ mechanism in Mahottari district prevented Local Development Officer Hari Lochan Sharma from attending office today by chanting slogans against him.
In order to prevent him from entering into the district development committee office, representatives of 13 political parties including Unified CPN (Maoist), CPN-UML, Madheshi Janadhikar Forum and others had picketed the office from early this morning.
Similarly, they have padlocked the account section and office of the LDO. Police have given security to Sharma after the representative of political parties’ chanted slogans and encircled his office.
The mechanism has decided to obstruct LDO Sharma from entering his office until a probe committee was formed and Sharma returns the bribe money. RSS
