MEND WAYS TO CHANGE GOVT: MINISTER

Bhaktapur, May 27: Minister for General Administration Prabhakar Pradhananga said government change is possible if the UCPN (Maoist) forges consensus on peace-process and constitution-drafting.

Inaugurating the second anniversary of Astha Mahila School, Gatthaghar, here today, he said the Maoists should give up their stance of prime minister’s resignation for consensus.

“The issue of government change is not big. Peace and constitution are the main issues. The Maoist party is an obstacle to both the tasks,” he said.

The Maoists neither have “taken part in peace process” nor they can go for a “revolt”, he said. “Thus, I request them to choose one.”

At the programme held under the chair of the school’s chairperson, Juna Basnet, 10 people were honoured for their support to the school. RSS
