7 KILLED IN COLOMBIAN PARAMILITARY CONFLICT

BOGOTA, May 28 (Xinhua) Seven people were killed and another one was injured in a clash between two paramilitary groups in northwestern Colombia, local police said on Thursday.
The clash occurred in Caucasia municipality between drug gangs "Los Rastrojos" and "Los Urabenos" due to a dispute over drug trafficking control in the zone, according to the police.
Regional police commander Eduardo Herrera said the clash took place in "Villa Claudia" house and among the deaths were two people working in the house.
Herrera said police officers and soldiers had been sent to the scene to control the situation.
