5 KILLED IN MATCHES FACTORY BLAST IN LAHORE, PAKISTAN



LAHORE, Pakistan, May 28 (Xinhua) At least five people were killed and 10 others were injured in a matches factory blast in east Pakistan's city of Lahore on Friday, police sources said. According to police, explosives used for making matches caused the blast.

The workers at the matches factory were engaged in routine work on Friday when the explosives went off. The reason for the blast is still investigation. The injured were rushed to nearby hospital. Earlier, it was reported that the blast occurred in a fireworks factory.
